Finally decided on a design for my space, I chose to spray a large pink circle. This would frame the work and add an urban contemporary feel. It didn't need to be perfect! I started by marking the centre of the wall, then used the old pencil, nail & a piece of string trick to create a nearly perfect circle. Once this was mapped out, I used a baby pink spray paint. However, I had had this in my locker for a while and didn't realise it was nearly empty! I ran to the shop and bought the closest paint I could find to a baby pink. This fuschia, raspberry tone actually worked very well with my 'FORSAKE' letters, due to it's tone matching the other paints I had made. Once the circle was filled, I decided to use the same paint on my letters, to fill some of the white gaps that had appeared. I tried to be free and abstract with my application, adding to the layers of paint and the abandoned, deserted feel of the text.
